This page is your link to the balance sheets and the tax returns for the International Commission on Health Care Certification. Please note that the financial statements begin in the year 2002, which is the year the ICHCC restructured from a non-profit corporation to that of a for-profit S-corporation. When statements are received for the previous and subsequent years, they will be posted as well. As Commissioners, we feel a responsibility to the Certified Life Care Planner who has dedicated his or her time, money, and countless hours of training and preparation towards obtaining this valued credential. Since our terms began in January of 2007, we have recommended changes and action to benefit you by establishing a more accessible structure of your certifying agency. Now, you will be able to answer questions during depositions regarding the financial status of the ICHCC, where the money is going and how it is being applied to benefit your credential. Although the ICHCC's tax status is that of a private-for-profit S-corporation, the financial records are now open to the field as they would be if the ICHCC's tax status was that of a 501 3(c) corporation. This is only one of many changes we have recommended and have passed as your Board, changes that you will be experiencing over the next 12 month period. Please call any of your Commissioners for any questions, comments, or suggestions that will make our certification agency that much better for the life care planning community.
